Malsymmetric is an abstract boardgame for 2 players. It features two boards; all movement on one board causes also movement on the other, and as such players must be careful to keep an eye on the game state on both.
The PDF contains a description of the components you need and the rules of the game, as well as illustrations to help make the gameplay clear.

I assume you have seen & played Shobu? If not, I highly recommend it. I designed a game in 2015 with similar piece movement restrictions that I called Entanglement, and when I saw Shobu a few years later, I'm pretty sure I designed a game very similar to this one. The idea never left my design journal tho.
Anyway, this seems fun, and I might just have to give it a try!
People have mentioned Shobu to me a couple times but I've yet to check it out in any way; apparently it's very well-liked, though. Also Entanglement looks cool! Funnily enough, when making this I pondered on a game where your opponent moves one of your units after moving, which is slightly similar but not quite as elegant as Entanglement's design. Nice work :)
