It's meant to indicate that the 4 Covemonties perform their actions in order of increasing number, and things like sinking into water are only checked after all 4 have acted. I didn't want to write the idea out for stylistic reasons (I worry that the hint images aren't quite enough though)
I think I must be misunderstanding this one. If I move (action) covemountie 1 onto water, before I have an action from 2 do anything, it immediately sinks. Have tried many things, but still cannot stop it from sinking immediately. Could you help me with what I'm missing? Thanks!
Covemonty 1 acts before 2, who acts before 3 etc, and only once all 4 have acted (or done nothing) the water is checked for. This means that if Covemonty 2 turns into a pushable block and on the next turn Covemonty 1 pushes 2 onto water, 2 will have time to perform a move before sinking as long as the move takes it out of the water.
Sorry, posted an incorrect version, I took too many screenshot XD. If your remove the second-last pause from the second column it shoul work. Rightly, by leaving it like this, the second cove argorithm stops and subsequent instructions are useless.

Yeah not the easiest rule to convey, I think what confused me the most was the fact that I had access to only 2 covemounties in that level.
But I manage to get through the whole thing after that.
A couple levels I also used less than the max covemounties, dunno if it was cheese or not.

I repeat that in my opinion this solution is excessively complex for the level, but I have not yet found a simpler and more compact one.
